After the traumatic birth into a new mother, Chamari set out to find ways to educate and support other mothers in an attempt to reduce the likelihood of them experiencing anything similar. Donations are accepted but doula services are provided free of charge as she completes DONA's certification process. My Birth Story is My Why merchandise uses screen printing services from a local Black woman owned company in Baltimore, MD. All designs are uniquely made by MBSIMW's founder, Chamari.
